Singularity At the center of a black hole lies the singularity, where matter is crushed to infinite density, the pull of gravity is infinitely strong, and spacetime has infinite curvature. Here it’s no longer meaningful to speak of space and time, much less spacetime. Jumbled up at the singularity, space and time cease to exist as we know them. I’ve always been fascinated by astronomy, especially black holes. I would love to visit one and then come back, but unfortunately there’s little knowledge about what a black hole is; just that there’s no coming back if you are pulled into one. The idea of a black hole is amazing to me. I recently took a class on astronomy and I fell in love with it, and it has inspired a few new pieces from me. I’ve been working on a couple, all related to the universe, and this one is the first one of the series. Hope you like it!
